There was a comment from an IT giant that engineers specialized in Core areas like Computer Science and Information Technology are not up to the mark when compared with engineers from other majors employed in the software arena…Here are my thoughts.
According to me Software is only a technology that is employed to provide solutions. For an engineer to perform better he or she requires domain knowledge on which they are working .Computer Science professionals are considered to be adroit in the technology but not in the domains on which they work .I think this might be the reason for the under performance by IT folks.
To be frank I have to blame IT guys too, they always think that they are the best in providing IT solutions but they have to be aware of the keen interest shown by Engineers from other majors to surpass the Core IT People and prove themselves to be hard working and competitive in the software genre.
So I thought it’s time to buzz my CSE and IT folks about the need of change in attitude and focus on improving further.
Till now we were running in Rat race it’s time to get ready for lion race…
It’s need of the hour too…
